As the in-house technical wizard at Safety Services, RJ McCown is responsible for all internal and external facing infrastructure and technology, such as Salesforce and Five9, for over 100 end users across two domestic and international locations. RJ’s dedication to ensuring an average of 99% uptime for all systems allows Safety Services to support customer safety needs at all times.
RJ’s unique skillset comes from a transition from sales to IT. Initially hired in a sales role, his background gives him first-hand knowledge of technology needs for a company in a growth stage. Prior to Safety Service, RJ’s first career was as a Paramedic where he was responsible for daily oversight of more than 80 EMT’s and Paramedics spanned across the Valley of the Sun.
In his 15+ year career, RJ has chosen roles where he provides support and help to keep people safe. His dedication to people and safety is shown in the care he places in his coworkers.
