Ed Hanson has a unique blend of R&D engineering, IT consulting, and business entrepreneur experience that allows him to excel as the Director of Information Technology at Safety Services. He is skilled at delivering cost effective solutions to business-driven needs with technical excellence and personal integrity to achieve results that maximize the performance, reliability, and security of information systems.
Ed started his 25+ year IT career at Sandia National Labs where his first assignment was serving on an OSHA inspection tiger team. He went on to co-found and operate a Microsoft Solution Provider business providing consulting, certified training, and web-based application development. He led major server and networking upgrades at Arizona Registrar of Contractors, Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona, and Arizona Criminal Justice Commission. Just before joining Safety Service, Ed served as the Senior Director of IT at Arizona Sports Foundation, dba Fiesta Bowl.
