Using RSS to Promote Workplace Safety

We want to extend an apology to our RSS subscribers, it was brought to my attention that after the switch to our new blog platform, RSS stopped working. We just got everything back up and running, so if this is the first time you are receiving an update by email, Hello! For those of you who have no idea what i’m talking about, we’re referring to those readers that receive our updates via email. ‘The Safety Blog’ offers valuable Health and Safety articles every week. By doing this, you are asking to receive our blog updates in your email inbox, nothing more, nothing less. We promise not to sell your information to any 3rd party! Here are 5 reasons you should subscribe now :

1. You need fresh topics for your safety program

We offer blogs on hundreds of Occupational Safety and Health topics. You can use these to freshen up your program and provide an engaging and interesting weekly program. If you don’t have time to make your own program, you can order one completely customized by us, for only $199 a year.

2. You want to stay current on industry news and OSHA requirements

Thought we don’t consider ourselves to be a news provider, we do post relevant and important news and changes in OSHA (and MSHA) requirements. The LAST thing we want to do is become another droning echo of the confusing changes in compliance requirements, but we try to explain these in a simple and practical way.

3. You don’t want to keep having to come back to watch for relevant topics.

By subscribing via email, all of our updates will be delivered in a simple and easy to browse format that you are already used to, your inbox! Topic titles are displayed in the subject line, so if it’s not something that interests you, you don’t have to read it!

4. You want to know and promote ‘Safety Culture’

Safety Culture is what you get when you stop worrying about what OSHA requires, and start thinking about ways to prevent injury and take care of your employees. It’s a genuine interest and care in the well being of those working around you. Not to mention, it’s one of the best things you can do to improve your bottom line. Receiving our updates via email is a great way to stay refreshed and keep safety on your, and your employees minds.

5. You want your email inbox filled with spam.

That’s a joke! As I mentioned before, we do not sell your information to 3rd parties, and, aside from the obligatory sales pitch within our blogs, we do not spam your with ‘product offers’ and ‘great deals’. So what are you waiting for? You can start receiving our updates via email (or RSS) now! Don’t forget to spread the word!  Your industry friends will appreciate the thought, and safety culture extends beyond the boundries of any one company.  You can prevent an injury, even a death through a simple email.
