Classroom or online training: The first step of our program is a straightforward computer-based training session designed using adult learning concepts. Our structured training program allows employees to study the material at their own speed on a computer and then take an automatically graded test. If computers are not available, the materials are printable for use in a traditional classroom or onsite training seminar.
Field training: The second step in our scaffold training is in the field. In this part of the program, your appointed trainer instructs the trainee on the practical applications of the materials they learned in the classroom session with an emphasis on safe operating procedures. The experience gained by the trainee's active participation in scaffolding work strengthens their understanding of the key concepts, and develops an "ownership" responsibility for the job.
Evaluation: The third and final step to the training session is evaluation. Through this step, the trainer observes and evaluates the trainee's knowledge and performance, and then either certifies them, or revisits areas that need more work. All certifications through the program meet or exceed OSHA requirements. By using the certificates and training log materials we provide, you will be able to create and maintain the records necessary to be OSHA compliant.
