The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, along with other federal agencies, published the semiannual regulatory agenda. It includes entries for rules that have great economic impact on a substantial number of small entities. Also included are entries selected for periodic review under Section 610 of the Regulatory Flexibility Act.
Some of the significant entries in the current OSHA agenda are the following:

- Electric power transmission and distribution; electrical protective equipment
- Methylene chloride
- Occupational exposure to beryllium
- Occupational exposure to chrystalline silica
- Occupational exposure to diacetyl and food flavorings containing diacetyl
- Bloodborne pathogens
- Cranes and Derricks
