Tuesday was a tragic day for Turkish Airlines as one of its planes crashed into a muddy field, leaving nine people killed and dozens more seriously injured. The Boeing 737-800 was flying from Istanbul to Amsterdam and was on its final approach to Schiphol Airport when the accident happened.

Electrical Safety: Lineman Electrocuted after Reportedly Violating the “Hot Gloves” Rule

A lineman in Bristol, Tennessee died shortly after getting hit with approximately 7,200 volts on the job. The worker, identified as Timothy James Parks, was electrocuted while handling a primary line, according to a Sheriff’s Office report.
Parks, 30, worked for Suncoast Communications Services, Inc., a subcontractor for Ocala Electric Utility. According to [...]
